Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture has the rules for all schools in indonesia to sing the national anthem before class begins and national heroic song at the end of the day. It is written in the Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Nomor 21042/MPK/PR/2017 at 11 April 2017.

Indonesia Raya is a national anthem. It is totally different with other songs. It has rules about how to sing it and treat it as the national anthem. Include its situation and condition to sing the song. Rules are written in UU No 24 tahun 2009 at 9 July 2009. So, the rules of the way we sing Indonesia Raya must refer to Undang undang. Let us learn carefully about this Undang undang to get clear understanding of how to treat the national anthem.
